    I am ready to sell the engine, tranny (actually have 2, a 3 speed column shift and a 3 speed floor shift), the rear end, 5 wheels off a half ton, 4 nice dog dish hubcaps, front suspension and all leaf springs. I live in northwest Washington. the engine runs like a top, the odo shows under 90k miles. Bud

    Pekka, I understand your concern, but everyone has their different ways of doing things. I wanted a more modern suspension and a chev v8 for reliability and ease of accessible parts should it fail on the road. I also have a 49 Plymouth that has a Nova front end and a 350 powereplant in her also (not to mention... gasp... it is also chopped... as the truck will be). Each person has their ways of making a vehicle their own. I truly believe I will have a COOL RIDE after I fininsh this project. I know I have a smile on my face every time I drive the Plymouth and would expect that same smile when I drive the truck. Have an awesome 4th, Bud

    just found a 94 chev s10 frame for it, a rolling chassis for $150.00. they even delivered it. so far the dice is rolling my way. Bud

    John, I Actually Found It On Craigslist. It Was In Better Shape Than I Had Hoped For. Hopefully In A Year Or So It Will Be Back On The Road. I Will Start Dissassembly Probably This Weekend. The Flathead, 3 Speed Trans, The Extra 4 Speed Trans And The Rear End Will All Be Available If Anyone Needs Them. Bud

    Just Bought This 53 Dodge B4b Truck For $800.00 And It Runs Like A Top. Drove Right On The Trailer. It Will Get Torn All The Way Down And An Updated Frame And Drivetrain Will Go Under Her. I Tried To Upload A Pic Of My Just Finished 49 Plymouth, But The Size Is Too Big. Bud
