  1. I have a real nice set of doors with just a quarter size rust spot on the lower skin. Might be expensive to ship tho... I am in western Washington. Bud
  2. Ok, guys, it's been a while, but I have been busy. Started the chop on my 53 truck last week, got 2 nights of work in it and it's starting to take shape. I took Kusters roof he gave me and used it for the front half, used my rear half and lowered the rear 4 inches and the front just over 5 inches. after the doors are chopped ( I just found a set of one piece windowed doors tonite), I will cut out the windshield area and lower it about 2 more inches. pictures added. I have more pics, but 5 is the limit one can add at one time. More later when doors and front windshield area are addressed. Bud
  3. I repaired all the grille bars on mine myself using an article in a magazine, they came out great, it just takes alot of patience. BUd
  4. I sure could use them, mine have welding spatter marks on them. Bud

  10. It will all depend on the level of your abilities as far as doing the work yourself or having the $$$$ to have someone else do it. I have a 53 b3b that I am presently putting on a 93 chev S10 frame with (gasp) Chev running gear. It has been a very easy swap so far, it will have all the juice it needs to scoot up the freeway and keep up with the traffic and customizing is what I happen to enjoy doing. Which way do you lean towards, that makes the big difference. Either way, good luck and the great guys on this forum will be able to guide you thru either way you choose to go. Bud :D
  11. thanks Mike, I sure will. If you hear of anyone with the single pane hardware, I sure would be interested. Bud
  12. thanks for the info, does anyone have the ventless hardware for both doors that they would like to sell? Bud
  13. Can a deluxe door be changed over to a standard door and thus get rid of the wing window? If so, does anyone have the parts needed to do so? I do not want the wing windows, I like the full glass better and I know that there will be someone on this site that knows the answer. Bud
  14. I don't have a picture that will download into this forum they are all too big and I am to computer stupid to know how to make them smaller), but there is a pic of the plymouth on my profile. just click on my name (buds truck) Bud
  15. no portholes or fireball, but I would love to find a way to get that beautiful side chrome trim to fit!!!!! Bud :D
  16. I will find 2 more "teeth" to replace the short ones to fill out the corners and I am looking for a set of 49 Plymouth park lamp/turnsignal lamp assemblies for the front. Bud :D
  17. that is a grille out of a 1952 Buick. I actually got a great deal on EBAY. It is the same kind I adapted into my 49 Plymouth. In fact, this truck will have a 49 plymouth dash assembly, the same heater, grille and gawd knows what else as my 49 Plymouth does Bud :D
  18. Just got this grille via ups today, put it in the grille opening of my truck to see what it would look like. With a little work I think I found a winner. What do you guys think?? Bud :D
  19. YOU FOUND ME, E MAIL SENT TO YOU. BUD
  20. very nice. Bud
  21. that is where the wider wheel comes in. I am aware of the differences and will be able to compensate for them. Remember, this will not look antyhing like a stock truck when I am finished. Bud :D
  22. saw this on ebay, sold my old one and then found this,, wish I would have seen this before I sold my old one, he would have gotten a better product with this one. Item #270197013485, Bud
  23. are you talking about the way the wheels fill out the fenders?? If so, I will use one inch wheel spacers and a wider rim. Bud
  24. don't hate me.... it is a small block chev with a turbo 350. Bud
  25. I took lots of pics, notes will come when I take the cab off to finalize the welds, I built a jig to measure the body mounts from the original frame to transfer the mounts to the S-10 frame. see the pics I attached. I will probably use one inch spacers on the front wheels and use a 4x4 rear end as they are supposed to be wider. Bud
