  1. Metro rubber products. If you can find parts thru rockauto with metro part #s you can get pretty good prices , Good luck. I had a bad experience with Roberts on some front suspension rubber !!
  2. I am looking at some rustproof lines (pvf coated) from ebay seller named fordoldtimers in Duluth Minnesota. Sounds like same people. However I found a website called inline tube. they have numerous parts in all kind of lines & sizes. Also nice kits listed under street rod plumbing. Thanks for the heads up !! JD

  13. vacuum gauge. look into a simple vacuum gauge & what it can do for you. it will help you with many questions on engine performance & trouble shooting. if your engine is in idle circuit it should die when idle screw is screwed in all the way.aka vacuum leak? also don't play with multiple things if it ran ok before distributor repair its probably in the distributor. but a vacuum gauge is a good idea to help anytime.
  14. HEY Feel lucky to have the rare ones!! I have a d19 coupe & am always HAPPY never to see MY car on display. It just makes it nicer to think its rare.

  17. ok a little off topic. I purchased a Toyota landcruiser because the owner could not make it run properly. I checked it out at his house and soon found champion plugs installed. I had some old ngk plugs with me. I installed the ngk plugs and the landcruiser came to life. I told him I wanted the car. he said that it needed to go the muffler/smog shop. CALIFONIA$$ I picked my landcruiser a week later & thought it was awesome . A couple of weeks went by & I drove home one day. I got to my driveway & the vehicle could not make it up the small hill! I was shocked. The smog shop replaced my ngks with champions again . Replaced plugs NGK proplem solved.
  18. dont make all of the changes at once so you will know which one fixed the problem!
  19. new plugs & not champions!
