Awesome I was beginning to think no one knew what it was. Thanks for pictures . I did buy the gun , because the guy who had the Ford that I talked about, complained that he wished he had got the spray gun. I got the ceramic version . Should paint this weekend I hope.
I searched the forums & saw some ideas on homemade lizard skin. however I have already purchased this stuff. Surprised that know one has used the real stuff.
I will let you know what I think of it. A friend used on a Ford & I saw a 20 degree cooling difference on the roof alone . California summers!! JD
sorry to say my airtex 73201 never made it in the car, i rebuilt the 218 & purchased a new fuel pump when we first started the rebuild. When I was ready to test run the engine the pump failed.i could only get another pump instead of a refund. went to all electric pump with a ford inetia switch best move i made so far.
i also had a spring out of place in the lower a arm. i used a spring compressor and a hammer. i could tell in my situation because the other side looked different. also roll the car back & forth while trying to settle the suspension. you might want to drive it a bit before lowering it. JD
centrifugal force will definitely destroy an armature winding, no load rpm or hanging up in the flywheel. if you get the old starter back it is very obvious.
I use Black Diamond,a Tractor Supply blast media, less dust & cuts rust very good. I made a blast cabinet out of a plastic 55 gal drum for smaller parts.
Update on the voltage regulator.
Evans electric is still active in Fresno CA.
My generator is still a 35 amp , & I should use a regulator from a 1955 chevy. About $55 from local Napa.

if the tires are the same size try the front on the back & visa versa , just for a test .
Agree it could simply be a bad new tire.Sorry for your luck but dont jump too fast!!
Well i had Evans electric convert my origanol generator to 12volts. I had asked them to supply the voltage regulator as well, however the man that helped me Otto Thorpe (RIP) passed away while the conversion was being done. I am now looking for a voltage regulator on my own. I have detemined that it is an "a" circuit. The auto is a 1941 Dodge D19
The generator says 35 amps. This is the origanol 6 volt nametag. Is the amperege going to be 1/2 of this or the same. Delco makes alot of regulators in all price ranges!!! Does anybody have a part # that is available without the large price tag? JD
Hey anyone have a picture or a 1941 Dodge throttle control rod. I can not locate mine. I need to see the part that goes through the firewall to the pedal. I have all of the rest of it on the car. D19 luxury liner business coupe.
Thanks JD
