  1. I just replaced my water distribution tube a couple of months ago and had the same issue. What we did was simple squeeze the new tube together just a bit and it finally went in.... Before doing that the exact same thing happened where we'd get the tube in about 1/3 of the way and it would bind up...
  2. Bmartin, thanks for posting the build thread. I've always admired you're car... it's awesome and will be awesomer with the power plant and tranny.
  3. My '51 Dodge, lowered 3" in the rear. Mostly all original except for the paint.
  4. I spent the extra $$$ and bought the dual master set up from AAJ brakes. It was well worth the spend, especially for the added security of having a plan B if one of the masters fail...
  5. I went with a dual from AAJ Brakes... Wasn't cheap but good quality... Wanted the safety of a dual... AAJ was great to work with and it was bolt on...
  6. Great progress... Cool stuff... Thanks for the update... Dave ( in Houston)
  7. Looking forward to the read... Maybe you can get George online at some point!
  8. SQ4MN, thanks for your posts... I really enjoy reading how it was "back in the day in SoCal". Reading how we set up our cars... Like you said, to each their own. That's what makes this hobby so enjoyable.
  9. Subscribed... BTW, is good you're setting a precedent now with you're wife to be... Letting her know that you'll probably always need "garage time"... Once the wedding is over things will change... I'm just say'n... Good luck...
  10. For what it's worth I replaced my MC with the dual master cylinder set up I had AAJ Brakes build. It was a little pricey, but went together well and I like the added security and safety. http://www.aajbrakes.com
  11. $2100 bucks, dang I gave the one I sold a few weeks ago for $600
  12. That Tattersfield is for a 23" right... Also I just sold an amazing Edmunds intake on the HAMB last week. It was absolutely beautiful; however I am leaning toward an Asche.
  13. Thanks guys... Don too am going with the same 4lb cap...
  14. Has cutting the beading off the inlet and outlet caused any issues for any of you guys? I just bought a the exact same champion radiator this week and assume I'll need to trim the outlet based on what Don and several others have done. One other question, is there a suggested way to cut off the outlet or should I just hacksaw away... Thanks everyone!
  15. Sorry... Any updates. I'm enjoying the thread.
  16. Rusty_Apache, who is the local pick n pull you reference in San Antonio? I'll be in SA next week... Thanks... Dave
  17. This forum is awesome... thanks guys!
  18. P15-D24 Forum, I am new to vintage Mopar, and want to thank you all for the great information I've gotten on this forum over the past few months. I've search the forum over and haven't been able to determine if the chrome vent window trim (between the vent and window) on a '46 Plymouth Coupe is the same as the trim found on a '48 Plymouth Coupe. I think it should be, but can't validate. Also, how was the chrome attached to the window. Any insights anyone could provide would be much appreciate. Thanks. Dave (in Houston)
