  1. Fireball, Happy Birthday, I was 60 on 8/6/08, with no complaints in my life, hang in there, the best is yet to come:) Bob
  2. Good for you:) How about some photos
  3. Go to the home page of this website, click on the links and you will come up with Tod Fitch's website. He has a great write up on the Vacumn wipers of our old Plymouths. Hope this helps, Bob
  4. Thanks, sorry about getting the color wrong:( I figured the other convertible was either a '40 or '41, but couldn't tell for sure Bob
  5. Wow, some great looking Plymouths. Is that a '40 Plymouth convertible to the left of the greenish convertible in from of the stadium stands? Would you have another photo showing that one? Thanks, Bob
  6. If memory serves me correct, it would be pre 1964 or '65, as that is close to when the zip codes came in effect Bob
  7. I'll be the big 60 three weeks from today, can't wait, Hopefully there still will be Social Security in two years. Heck, my old Plymouth is working on 69 model years come Sept. Hang in there Reg, nothing to it:) Bob

  9. Looks like you had some great weather to go fishing, no such luck down here in the Catskills, so sunshine at all. By the way, I grew up northwest of Plattsburgh
  10. Smiles are what these old Plymouths are all about:) Good for you:)
  11. Allen, like Rodney mentioned, you surely will enjoy it. Each month has a section on someone's "Driveable Dream" My favorite part of the great magazine. About a year ago there was an article on a 1937 Plymouth that was saved from a junk yard several years ago, work done on her, but a neat "Driveable Dream" Same type of articles on old Chevies and Fords, not to mention a Stanley Steamer and other older makes. Bob
  12. Yes, it is the Hemmings "Classic Car" In my mind the best monthly old car magazine published. Only American cars.
  13. I have visited Moore's Salvage yard in Rapid City also, very spectacular yard, cars all in neat rows. They are also fantastic people from both meeting them and dealing with them over the years by either email or phone. Don't forget to visit Mount Rushmore, AWESOME:)
  14. The new issue of "Classic Car" has a good article on an Airflow
  15. Dennis, Thanks for sharing the photos. Awesome to see another Airflow:)
  16. Bob, Were you able to get some photos of the Airflow? I think the Airflows are one heck of a car. Thanks, Bob
  17. Bob, I hope you take LOTS of photos:) Bob
  18. Rodney, The '58 thru '60 T-Birds are my favorite of all the "Birds" Thanks for sharing, Bob
  19. Chet, Thanks for sharing, I have been following the different threads about the show in Scully. Very interesting reading:) Bob
  20. I have my headliner for the Business coupe installed so far by just the bows. I have both sides centered on each side. I know I am suppose to start at the rear and work forward, but just where in the rear do I start? Would it help if I attached the rear window garnish molding first to help keep the headline taunt. On the inside rear of the shelf, towards the inside of the trunk appears to have the same material that I tacked the windlace on around the doors. Am I correct on these thought? All responses are appreciated, Thanks, Bob
  21. one more try
  22. I guess it didn't post, another try
  23. Seeing the cut up '49 or '50 Chevy made me decide you show you guys my son's latest project. Hopefully I was able to post the photo
  24. On March 6th I gassed up my Plymouth at 3.37.9 a gallon, yesterday I put has in her again at 4.22.9 a gallon. I have been driving it, but in order to do so at these prices, our two daily drivers sit, other than my wife driving ten miles round trip to work. Also she makes one trip a week to town to do her normal shopping. As she says, no more trips to go "Window Shopping"
  25. Rodney, One nice looking coupe
