I went with Collector's Cars insurance. They are affiliated with USAA. $200 a year, I stated the value for insurance and I get to drive it anywhere up to 2500 miles a year. Don't know how they would know if I went over since they never asked for the odometer reading. Being in Alaska and living on a gravel road I only get to drive it from about May to early October on dry days so I'll never hit 2500 miles.

I bought one of these off of ebay 3 years ago and it fit with no alterations. My wipers work fine and are two speed now as well. Glad that I'm not the only one that couldn't make sense of this. I'm going to run a single bulb socket and wire it up on a bench and see what happens.

The shop manual is the same as the colored diagram. I'm not understanding the diagrams. Where's the ground? Is the flasher or the column wire the ground? How does it flash only on the correct light if the flasher is hooked to both?

The sockets in place now are one wire sockets. I'm thinking that they are incorrect as the diagram shows two wire sockets. How does the flasher make only the correct light blink when it's connected to both? Is one a ground?

The light sockets that are in my speedo cluster for the left and right turn indicators are single wire bulb/sockets. Looking at the wiring I'm thinking that they should be 2 wire sockets. I do not see how by the diagram that each is separate from the other. Looks to me that if the flasher sends the signal they will both flash. Am I missing something and do I need to get 2 wire sockets?

Nick do your metal inserts look like a round tube with a large washer on top? If so I couldn't find any either and made mine from steel tubing and large washers of the correct size. I would post photos but they seem to have been lost since Canon changed services. -
I believe that if you removed those wide stripe covers you will find the original upholstery underneath them.

Got the wiring bugs out, tightened all the fuel line connections and bam she started right up.
