  2. maybe I missed it but I could not find a bed parts diagram for 48-50 Pilothouse anywhere. most of the time Mar-k or Bruce Horkey or someone has it but no luck so far. No rush I'm trying to find out whats missing and what does not belong in this pile of parts for later.
  3. I would say yes but now that I look at the image (thanks) by the way my radiator support is not right either all these part were in the bed of the truck but it looks like they are all from different trucks my support is u shaped but wit no bends and looks shorter
  4. I have the grill, the radiator top, and radiator bottom, just not the side pieces and I have 2 brackets that are not shown on your pic not sure if they are for my truck but seam to be.

Hi guys got a 48 pilothouse Dodge that seams to be missing a few front end pieces but because there seams to be some difference from 48 to 53 not sure what it looks like. there should be some kind of large L shaped brace that connects the U shaped Radiator support to the grill. Are they all the same for a pilothouse trucks or are 48's a little different. any one got a pic or a source. You guys have been a wealth of help and info thus far have seen a few pics but the years were not listed so not sure whats right.
  6. Looking for a source for 48 dodge truck rear upper shock stud or stud and bracket or advice on what other have done if I can't find one. Help
  7. was wondering if any one had any factory frame reference points or measurements to find the center line for the front axle. some fames have several different was to measure to confirm
  8. Hi I have a new project truck a 1948 1/2 ton truck B-1 Scarebird has a disc brake conversion right now on ebay but they say its for 1949-1953. I thought they were the same from 48 to 53 would this kit work on a 48 or is there a reason what is the difference. Emailed the tech at scarebird and he said he was just going by what hollander had in its book. and could not tell me anything else. help please
