41, good post, and thanks for the photo. Would be nice to find out what these cups are for. I've got LED bulbs in the dash sockets. I may try the blue high beam too!

Lol Frank good call. Bugged the hell out of me too. This morning I went digging through a bucket of hardware and found the matching special nut !

Yes, paper molded cups. Insulators of sort. Not sure what they insulate. Odd little bits for sure.

Help please with another assembly question. I have rebuilt the cluster. Some new gauges, paint, new glass. I replaced the two fish paper " cups" as I found them. Parts book calls for three of these insulators on Amp and Fuel gauges. Where am I missing one, and are these in correct locations?

Ill apply as needed i suppose.

So I have a box of clips that I don't know where they are meant to be used. Some are generic looking, probably firewall to hold speedo or E brake cables. Can anyone ID any for me?

Frank, two thoughts. Didn't want to take apart what I had done. Looking up all front mounted items will have the white above. Should be clearer. Can't hurt.

Some progress today. Frank, note the gloss white underside of dash. I know it'll payoff ! Great idea.

Thanks guys for info and photos. I did not have a jiffy jet back when I drove this car. I have one now but it is not the one that sets up this way. Ill look for a rubber or chrome plug in the meantime.

Excellent idea Frank. I get it. Any idea why there are two holes on top / center of my dash? Wiper switch and what else? Its been 40 years since I've driven this car. I don't recall, and can't find the answer in any photos online. ?????

Hi Dan, Sorry, wrong photo. The clip is: 987087 I didn't have the clips. Noticed them in the D24 parts book. Found them at Arizona Mopar parts.

Small steps yesterday. Hand brake return spring, and extension. Also, tidied up the headlight and horn wires with original clips on radiator support cross bar.

Sunny and 70 today in Connecticut , mid November. Completed another task while garage is warm. Hand brake handle, painted and installed. Attached to rebuilt cable. Will adjust another day. Note: don't disassembled handle to paint. Took a bit to figure out how the spring sat inside to function properly.

Headlight Relay ... check. NOS Auto-Lite installed with original instructions I found here. After much reading here, it seemed confusing, however it became clearer once I followed the wiring diagram. Won't be able to test until dash is in.
