  1. Tony, We went to look at a horse in Oro Grande years ago, and Roy owned the ranch next door, He came over and offered me a brew and we talked while Kathy and our horse trainer looked at the horse. He took me to the ranch house and showed me some of his collection that was not in their museum. We ended up killing a few brews that day. (We didn't buy the horse) Dennis:D

  14. I get about 16 mpg on my 48 P15. I get 21 to 23 mpg in our 2001 Yukon SUV and we got18 mpg while towing the P15 up to Big Bear Lake. Dennis
  15. Norm, I think you would have to call your local rental place as rental charges are different in different areas. Also check what size truck they will require you to have. The local U-Haul would not rent a trailer to a buddy of mine to haul his stock 50 Jeepster, they said that his Furd F150 was too small to tow. So he went to the U-Haul 30 miles away and they rented a trailer with no problem and it was $1. less a day it was $49.00 a day. You can go to U-Haul web site and check out the charge in your area. Dennis
  16. Normspeed, Today is the day. Congrats on your retirement. Now relax and have fun. Dennis
  17. Mr. Belvedere: You missed a great show, the weather was great with the temp in the 70's. BobT-47P15: With the temp in the 70's I did not need to use it. I just put it on for the show and was the only car that had one and they had 500 entered. Dennis:D

  24. What differance does it make? Some of us drive, some trailer and some do both drive & trailer. I know I drive to some shows and I trailer to other shows, my cars have chips and bugs on them. When I see another classic car, I don't ask if they drove or trailered their car. I know that Friday morning my 48 will be on a trailer headed for the Big Bear Lake Fun Run, if you want to hold that against me, so be it. Dennis:mad:
  25. Jon, When my wheel cylinder went and soaked my brake shoes my son soaked them in dish soap and water over night we then rinsed them with hot water. That was 3 years ago and I have not had any problems. Dennis
