  1. Sent you a note about that place.
  2. Cute, Rob. Lots imagination there. Probably the only space like it.
  3. ......but I can't figure out how to delete it now. The button at the bottom says edit/delete, but I can't find any button that actually goes ahead with the delete. Tried a couple things, but they do not work. Any scientific folks out there who know that answer?? Would be good to know since we are now in charge of placing and removing our own ads. Which I think is a good thing.
  4. Norm, there is a house somewhat like that not far from the office. Just your basic ranch style home. On the south end is a normal two car garage. On the north end is another either 2 or 3 car garage, part with high roof for the big motor home. So you have house between garages.
  5. Well, as they say in Italian, or something, I only getta the left halfa da garage. The wifey's PT Cruiser gets the other half. Since she is a kinda short person, she likes smaller cars. Thatsa good thing. Leaves me just a leeetle more room. Sometimes when the weather is good, she will let me use her half to string out my junque in order to work on the old car. But eventually it has to get cleaned up. And I got all sortsa stuff on shelves, stacked and hanging on my side. Too much actually, but I kind of like having some of it around. Uh, Don, is that frost on the Plym in the outside picture. I even have sneaked a few things over onto her side.
  6. As I said earlier, I just stay logged in. ?Don't know if that's the right way, but I do it. Then I don't have to bother to log in each time. So far have not determined that to be a problem. You do have to be logged in to make posts, etc.
  7. I think you can still buy one like that at auto parts stores. Seems as if O'Reilly here in MO has it, or one very similar. That red knob is for emergency flashers, I think. It's likely not a real ancient item. Seems as if one like that retails for $40 or $50. My 2 cents.
  8. Ed, here is my 1 3/4 cents worth. I like the middle one with no flash.....because.....you don't see the multi colors of paint on your coupe's front end. It looks as if the coupe is all black, or some dark color.
  9. You're welcome, Nelson. That pic worked real well.
  10. Looks good in the photo, Jon. It may have a few problems, but looks usable as is for a while. Then you can address things one by one. Yep, ya stole that car and didn't even need a gun. Enjoy your luxury driving.
  11. Hi Nelson. Check your PM for some hopefully helpful info. Bob
  12. Welcome to the new place, Robin. Glad you finally got the browser, etc worked out. New tricks to learn, but all in good time I think. If you read what some have posted about how certain things work, it will help speed up the learning curve. Bob
  13. Bob Westphal, check your P M for some more info. Bob
  14. I don't really care what they call us, I guess. Just having some fun with the new deal. Gabby is probably accurate, Mr rockabilly.
  15. CHEERS !!!!!
  16. Joe, it's in a little salvage place in a fellow's woods not far west of town. Kind of his back yard. He will sell parts - I have bought some things. Need to go back to look for certain other things.
  17. He does, Richie. But I'm thinking David Maxwell has one of the original type knobs like this one. Not sure if they are MoPar, or aftermarket items. Pete made his with a micro switch from Radio Shack...I have bought one of those, but saw this.....maybe easier than drilling, installing and wiring a switch. Or maybe not. We will eventually see. Don't recall seeing one of these for sale previously.
  18. Tim mentioned the thing I was thinking of....straight up shift lever. Also there is a tape player in the dash, and no clutch pedal as this has a Chevy V8 and evidently an automatic trans, operated by the original shift lever. Probably just have to know where the gears are. Reason the horn button and dash look different - it's a Deluxe (not Spec Deluxe) which does not have the fancy horn ring and radio grill chrome in the middle.
  19. Used the "insert" method......the yellow envelope with a mountain on it above when posting.
  20. That's one thing, Ed. Is another.
  21. For using pictures larger than the "manage attachments" feature will allow. This one is 600 x 450 pixels, or 119K. It took reading someone else's post about this feature....I had not discovered it yet.
  22. Looks like your back yard kinda jumps off there.....hope all your brakes on the vehicles are working.
  23. If the pic is too large to load on the forum, just put in the link in the message for folks to click on. (cut and paste the url line) I just did that with some photos from ebay that proved to be too large. They are in the message about do you see something unusual in this picture.
  24. Have to click on the link....too big to load in space alloted. http://www.asdinc.com/49plymouth/Picture%20022.jpg It's in this car for sale: http://www.asdinc.com/49plymouth/Picture%20095.jpg
  25. Looks as if the seller needs to trim his bushes. Kind of an interesting picture, however. Just tossing it out for entertainment.
