  1. Hope this may help.
  2. I did a 6x10 section of my shop like this to keep my cycle in to keep it clean.
  3. Yes, that vapor barrier is a big plus. I put in a center drain, drain in the lower corner also, water hose connections at each end. From the rear to the front, I have about a 2 inch drop, and a downward tapper in front of the doors to keep out blowing rain. The concrete crew did a good job on my slab, put in cut scores to let the concrete crack where you want it to, and it will crack.
  4. I designed and built my shop 36 x 32, 2x4s, use vinyl siding to match my home. 200 amp service does not cost much more that 100 amp. A mobile home electric furnace makes a good heating system. Helped 2 of my uncles with their shops, with metal buildings, which was alot easier to put up. One shop we did with a garage door at each end, like a drive through. The air flow in the summer is great. A couple of skylights in my shop is going in this spring. I just can not get enough light any more.
  5. I have some material that looks like a pot scrubber, scouring pad, that forms very good. I found speaker cover material looks real similar also. I used black leather as my armrest cover material. The black leather is from a leather coat. I used the black leather to cover my windlace also, kick boards, floor shift boot, etc....
  6. My tank cleaner.
  7. Had problem with no gas or not much gas going to carb with my 49. The problem was within the fuel tank. I took the tank off, strapped to a cement mixer. Put Purple Soapy cleaner, bolts, chains, and whatever in the tank, and turned on. Flushed out several times, came out very good. Final rinse with K1. Never had problem after that.
  8. Welcome, There is always a few guys here with an answer if you need one.
  9. This is a photo of my 37, same as my 38s.
  10. This jack was listed as 1934-37.. But I would know how to use it at the front of my Plymouth, looks very tall...Maybe it is for a truck.
  11. This jack was listed on ebay as a 1938 Plymouth/Dodge.
  12. I used these numbers also with my 38, 12 volt system. I used a fuse box from a Nissan. Have plenty of extra fuse connections, if I want to add anything extra, like power outlets in the trunk, or extra lights, coffee pot, refrigerater, etc.
  13. I bought new heavy gauge cable from the auto parts store. I built a wooden box, for the battery, tool box, etc, for some extra weight.
  14. No front clip, no problem. I drove my car several years like this. Gas can for fuel tank. battery in rear box. dash on supports. all gauges hooked up. plywood and van seat. worked good.
  15. Brian, make sure to keep your hub caps on, or your young one may say , "Look the nuts are showing, car porn"
  16. Is the price shipping included, or add shipping?? I received Street Rodder for many years, but got tired of looking at 32 Fords. I thought I was about the only person in the USA with a old Plymouth.
  17. I have a S10 bench seat sitting in my 37 Coupe, fits good. Ford Ranger bench seats fit nice also. In my 38 Coupe I have a seat from a Chevy or GMC Surburban, 3rd row, fit perfect, have to build a good platform for it.
  18. If you compare the sizes on newer cars compared to to sizes a few years ago, you can see why prices go up. Cars now have 16, and 17 inch, with 60, 55,50 series tires that cost more than a 75 series tire. The replacement tires for my Dodge Avenger would cost $155 each to replace, 205/55-16. The tires I had put on my 49 Plymouth cost $55 each , 205/75-14............
  19. The only experience I had with this material , was at the dentist office. It works quick. The dentist told me the name of the material. Found it on ebay.
  20. For mold making, there is Alginate that is used by dentist. It is not expensive, can be found on ebay.
  21. I did a bench test on my radiator, with cutting a bike innertube, putting each end on the inlet, and outlet of rad, put in water, cap, couple of lb of air , and wait. found 1 small leak, after an hour or so, but nothing major.
  22. I put a little bevel on my pilot bushing with a round stone on a drill.
  23. Same here in Virginia. Have my computer by the window, and fireplace looking down the valley watching the cold rain moving in. Was sunny and 60 yesterday, so I got to spend most on the day on the Plymouth.
  24. I relocated my battery to the trunk. looks a lot cleaner in the engine compartment now.
