    I would like all of your help. I have found some Fender skirts The man had on his 1947 Chrysler Coupe. He says they are 1950 Mopar skirts. First their should not require wrenches to put them on Correct? And Second were they different for each badge 1948 Plymouth V/S 1948 Chrysler. 1950 Dodge V/S 1950 Desoto. Any pictures and feed back would be great. Thank you Frank

    I seen it called the run channel. Is the material the is in the door the receives the the glass between the garnish molding and the door it self. Some look like felt, the material looks like the wiper that is on the door and the garnish molding.

    Good evening, I could use everyone’s input. I will be replacing the run channel on my 1950 Dodge Coronet. All the run channel in my car is about 13/16 wide. I feel they are all original. I am the second owner, all four pieces are the same, they look the same to each other. And all the clips and things are still in place. BUT i have not found any new material this wide yet. Have any of you had to deal with this? And what did you use? Thank you Frank

    Let me say the fitting it self was odd, a bit of unthreaded portion on the that’s were i used the small brass fitting i got from Andys. I was working on my. 1950 Dodge Coronet.

    Andys has the ferrule and did not pay anything like that. I think i have two in my fitting stash.

    Sorry for the long absences, I think the big hole i see If the is like my car there should be a tab that would move to the door jamb. My car is at the body shop or i would get you a picture.

    My 1950 Dodge coronet’s hood is the same two piece. It is in the body shop know but i intend to seam seal what i can and use dumdum were the trim fit the hood.

    I think that switch is called the interrupter.

    What about some seam sealer for the small gaps and some Duct seal for the trim tabs. That is what i intend to use on my 1950 dodge hood.

    i need some help on how to removing and then replacing the wing window glass on my 1950 Dodge Coronet. i did not see anything in section three of the shop Manual. the glass is still good. I would like to re chrome the frame. hope to hear from you. Thank you Frank

    I would like to rebuild my door hinges. A 1950 Dodge Coronet “ club coupe “ I am sure some one has tried, Or is there a service that will do this? I was told that Chevy S 10 repair kits work great. Need more help please. Thank you Frank

    Jonathan, You have great timing. I have a 1950 Dodge Coronet 2 door. I am also starting the same search. I have some stuff already. Trunk was from Steel Rubber. The rubber i removed from my doors is not the same shape all the way around. noticeably bigger along the bottom and had a metal backer that fit in slots in the door. Some stuff i do not see any listings For some stuff you might want to use play Do ( The kids stuff ) to get a shape and size. That helped me a lot before.
