Joined the Army April 1970, married December 1970.  We lived in Frankfurt and Augsburg Germany, Fort Devens Massachusetts, Okinawa Japan, Fort McClellan Alabama.  I spent a year in Sinop Turkey before my wife and daughter joined me in Wertheim Germany.  Ended my career as a First Sergeant at Fort McClellan.  Returned to Minnesota in 1990, bought my mother's house where my first car was parked behind a lilac bush.  Yes the green 48 was my High School car. Retired from Hennepin County in 2017.
