  5. I am new to the 50 style cars. I have a hood for my 50 plymouth and am asking if the brace that goes between the hinges is supposed to attach to the hood or just the hinges for bracing once the hood is shut.......thanks
  6. First thing...........thank you to all who answered.............Now for the big question.........I just need the hood to fit the car. The moldings etc are not important as the hood just needs to fit between the fenders and latch correctly. So will it fit is the question?

  10. I guess I should have added that my wagon has a chopped top, so I don't need the sliding glass rubber. The top is chopped and angled forward so all my side glass will be cut to fit........but thanks everyone so far for the "where to look" and "how to's"
  11. Looking for window rubber, bug-fuzz(window sweep), and door rubber for 50 plymouth wagon. I know of Roberts but are there any other places I can check? thanks in advance

  16. Bud........here's a couple more. I need to take more pics, these are about a year old and the car is farther along now. Did you notice that when the roof was chopped, the posts are slanted forward .
  17. Just joined this site and am looking to talk with others about their Surburban wagon. I have a 50 Plymouth wagon with a chopped top and would like to know where others have gotten door seals, window felt and other hard to find rubber .thanks
  18. I work for a cooling system company and I can tell you that if you want to keep the motor cool, make sure you have flow capability. By that I mean the tube width in the radiator. Most all copper/brass rads have 3/8" tubes which work well. But when you are making alittle more HP, you want better flow. The aluminum rads start at 2 rows of 1" tube width. So even 4 rows of 3/8" tube will not give you the amount of flow the 2 rows of 1" tube will.......just my 2 cents.
