randroid Posted August 10, 2008 Report Posted August 10, 2008 Frankie, I'd like to shake the hand of the Daddy of that visor. Lord, it makes me want to go to bed alone tonight. Welcome; you'll meet some good and\or well informed folks here and by being actively involved in wishing to improve your ride you'll find no dues to pay nor tests to take to become part of a really nice extended family. Enjoy! -Randy Quote
Frank Elder Posted August 10, 2008 Report Posted August 10, 2008 Thank you one and all! I tried to shrink the snap down on WINDOWS PHOTO GALLERY and was only partially succesful. The picture size option worked, but after going to 640x480 it tried to make me register a new user account with WIZARD something or other? Am always wary of hidden charges and did not think I should persue that course. Please, if in the know about this, WIZARD, I could use the help. Randroid that visor came off a 1948 D-24 4-door cdan. Someone had rattlecanned it rusto green and black, with JD yellow rims! When it became obvious to even me that it was a Fulton, a $ was come to and I took it home. The coupay is a s.dak. survivor, straight and runs. Frankie Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted August 10, 2008 Author Report Posted August 10, 2008 Frankie..the use of MS Paint, under the accessories section on your OS will give you the ability to size your picture anyway you wish quick and easy..using the save as feature will also make a copy of the new size under another name and leave your original intact..it will be under Programs. Accessories, Paint, Image, Resize/skew. Right click will give you the properties of the new resized print to see if it is of proper size..this is a very easy method once you do a one that is...and built right into your computer. Quote
NatesSedan Posted August 10, 2008 Report Posted August 10, 2008 Welcome to the forum...after you get past the cruel initiations its a great place to hang out. (just kidding of course or am I???) Great looking car you have there. Regarding picture posting. I would really recommend using one of the picture hosting websites. Upload your photo. Then to put it onto the forum just right click on the picture, copy the address, and paste into your thread. None of the resizing stuff. Quote

John Mulders Posted August 11, 2008 Report Posted August 11, 2008 Frankie..the use of MS Paint. Sorry ,I would advice to use something more modern and with less issues! If you use MS Paint on your car you will have compatibility issues, probably need to start you car when you want to apply a layer. You have to have a license that will expire in a year. Then you need to renew or your paint won't stick. Upgrades to a new version will require engine repainting. Sorry . couldn't resist John Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted August 11, 2008 Author Report Posted August 11, 2008 but we don't have a hardner issue...and we all know how easy it would be to uninstall later if you needed too.... want to get the wife out in the shop..just mention as you go out the door that you have to see how the stripper is doing.. Frank Elder Posted August 11, 2008 Report Posted August 11, 2008 You saw all the crust on the hood right? The only MS paint I could think of was going to require More Sanding! Jokers to the right of me Clowns to the left of me, Stuck in the middle again! Quote

Frank Elder Posted August 12, 2008 Report Posted August 12, 2008 Figured out how to downsize, sure as shooting[bet you thought the other s-word sailor] but can't get how to upsize them when after they were made too small. No matter how tiny they are the members profile won't upload them. Some are so bad they look like crumpled tinfoil. I'll change the setting on my camera, and hopefully they won't need such drastic measures! Quote
