Bob_Koch Posted May 13, 2008 Report Posted May 13, 2008 Thought you'd be interested in this pilot-house up for auction by Mecum. Will be interesting to see how much it actually sells for. Is there someone who get's this channel that can watch the auction? http://cgi.liveauctions.ebay.com/F43-1950-Dodge-1-2-Ton-Truck_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ28193QQihZ013QQitemZ230252123876QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW Quote
sam knopik Posted May 13, 2008 Report Posted May 13, 2008 chrome bumber is not doing it for me.... I'll pass Quote
oldmopar Posted May 13, 2008 Report Posted May 13, 2008 Don't forget to budget a little extra for the 12% buyers premium so looks like you need $33600.00 to make the 1st bid Ed Quote
MBF Posted May 14, 2008 Report Posted May 14, 2008 Think I'm gonna pass on this one. I've been watching some of their auctions-a lot of stuff isn't selling because it isn't reaching the reserve-recession/depression anyone? Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted May 15, 2008 Report Posted May 15, 2008 nice looking truck..bumpers don't bother me..actually they look good..not utiltarian but good...lose the WWW's though..face it ITS A TRUCK...with this much bling added..where is the chromed mirror Quote
dmulhall Posted May 15, 2008 Report Posted May 15, 2008 Did I not see this truck in a picture awhile ago? I think it was at a show with a older gentleman standing in front of it..?? I might have it saved somewhere... Quote
Vintrader Posted May 20, 2008 Report Posted May 20, 2008 I mean it is a pretty nice truck and all. But I buy and sell a fair amount of old trucks and I would have never thought this one would have brought $26,500 It does not say if it was sold online or at the live auction, did anyone happen to see this one on TV maybe Dodge trucks have finally reached the selling values of Chevrolet and Fords. MBF Posted May 22, 2008 Report Posted May 22, 2008 Dutch-it said it closed @ $26.5, but there's no feedback for it-wonder if it even sold?? You out of all folks should know what these puppies are worth. I've been watchin' their auctions but haven't seen any trucks recently-let alone PH. Camaros and Barracudas going for $800K? These aren't our kind of folks that are buying them. Give me a guy that did a do it yerself job and got his hands dirty over these suits any day. Mike Quote
