Merle Coggins Posted December 9, 2006 Report Posted December 9, 2006 WOW. Lannon's only about 15 miles away. Problem is... No space and no money. I could make a trade, but I've lost all my marbles Merle Quote
bob_amos Posted December 10, 2006 Report Posted December 10, 2006 I've always had a desire to build a replica of those stations that were all windows and framing. The ones that were just an office, and island and the old frame lift was out on the side of the place. But this would be even better... oh well, the distance is way too much. Quote
David Maxwell Posted December 10, 2006 Report Posted December 10, 2006 ...without all the old charm. Wonder what it would have cost me to have it trucked all the way from Wisconsin? Small fortune I imagine. Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted December 10, 2006 Report Posted December 10, 2006 those big box kits from the lumber yard use OSB siding at best on two foot centers..mister wavy you can call it after a few weather cycles. Add insulation, and paneling inside...properly finsh the exterior..(upgrade ot T1-11 minimum) and the 2500 is just a faint line in the side behind you. then you have to wire the place..by the way, foundation not included. foundation and roof, including the trusses or stick built...are your main costs in builing..walls are cheap..
