Anybody Know What The Weight Is For A 39 Ply 2 Door Sedan?

Don't know exactly but the registration weight on my 46 business coupe is 2970. Don't think the 2 dr sedan would be much heavier.

Maybe a couple of hundred lbs more, even my 48 Chrysler C38 Club Coupe only weighs around 3500 lbs, mine is probably less, as it does not have a fluid drive or the M5 trans, which I am sure weighs at least 200lbs more thna a dry clutch and 3 spd trans..................Fred

Since you're still in NY, try your local DMV office or call Albany. My experience is that they have this info readily available.

You can take the car to the land fill for free weighing. I did that in Broome County where I live. I just called them up and said I needed my Dakota weight for insurance and was told to come up and tell them when I got on the scale what I needed the weigh in for. That was in '98. Being a county landfill and I am a resident did not cost me a thing. Can't hurt to call and ask!

Or any place that buys scrap metal in large quantities. will have a scale that will weigh your vehicle before and after if you were to have a trunk full of scrap iron to sell.
