I have tried to do this before but with out much luck. I would like to select an event or two where the forum participants could get to to become aquainted. I believe I posted a poll on where people were located but I did a searcha nd cant find it.

So at the risk of being redundant, here is a poll for notheasterners to relpy to.

I know ther is a nice swap meet and show in Rhinebeck, NY the begining of May, there are a couple of thing at the auto Museum in Saratoga Springs, NY, the show and swap in Mac Cungie, Pa. and likely events in New England. So if you would care to answer the poll, and suggest an event and its date, perhaps we can get some face time.

Oops forgot PA, anybody know how to modify the poll?

I'm in northern Virginia but my family is on Cape Cod and I travel up there a lot. I would go to pretty much any of the events mentioned if I've got the time. Obviously my old Plymouth won't be able to make the trip but I'll get there in something else. So I guess that's a yes or sign me up or whatever.

Greg,

I may be in Virginia but still consider myself a North Easterner. (Born & raised in Brooklyn, but don’t hold that against me) I voted for the tri-state area. The 48 isn’t ready for the open road this summer but I may buy a car trailer to move my 29 around for special long range events. Not a trailer car but not a highway car either, it would take me 3 days to drive the back roads to NYC.

Keep me informed of any activities even if I drive up in my Suburban. Should I say the derided word Chevy. Actually in 1929 the Plymouth sold at a slightly higher price then the comparable Chevy. My goal is to get the 48 out of the paint shop by fall. LOL

Greg,

One more PS…

If you want to make the trip down here for the Father’s day event at Sully we have a guest room with a separate bath. Of course the house is always a mess with car parts scattered about but I don’t think you would mind that.

Also maybe I could come up with a BS business reason to get Don Coatney up here for that weekend.
