I can understand the prop rod on those brand X cars..the hinge design is such that the springs will kick the hood up in the rear as you try to close it...most people do take them off..they are a tad rough on the hood itself...I bet yours is just missing the springs...

Norm...was this at Legends? I always seem to miss their cruise nights (or days). Looks like there were a lot of "old man" hot rods and customs there. LOL!

My trunk prop is currently a broom, still with the head.

The hatch on my teardrop uses matched pieces of electrical conduit for braces.

47Heaven, that was legends. 1st Sunday of the month. This is the first one that hasn't been rained out since November.

Normspeed, you must not of got the winds down the hill. We had high winds here on Saturday & Sunday. Our cruise night was canceled on Saturday, I cuold not see the house across the street due to the blowing sand.

Those pictures are feeding my cabin fever. Here in Massachusetts it was snowing last weekend. Right now it is 50 degrees and raining, but it is supposed to be in the 30's tomorrow with either rain and/or snow. I can't wait until the warm weather and the cruise nights start again. Usually in May around here.
