Guest Roadrunner Posted December 2, 2006 Report Posted December 2, 2006 In trying to Identify the part no.s for our 1940 4 door Plymouth I ran into some trouble when looking at the differences in the lower control arms in the years I need to know the model of the car. That page goes by the model not the year. What was the 1940 4 door called? A P-? Thanks Steve and Darrien Quote
greg g Posted December 2, 2006 Report Posted December 2, 2006 Should be a P 10 unless it is the price leader "Roadking" which was designated P 9. Quote
TodFitch Posted December 2, 2006 Report Posted December 2, 2006 Check the serial number on the right front door hinge post. You can compare it against the list of serial numbers on this page: http://www.ply33.com/Misc/vin To determine the engineering code and the plant that it was assembled in. Quote
