Bob_Koch Posted February 5, 2008 Report Posted February 5, 2008 He has far more skills than I do. He did a nice job on the firewall and the suspension. Got a few jabs regarding the cheby engine. Quote
48Dodger Posted February 5, 2008 Report Posted February 5, 2008 Of course it would be better with a Mopar engine, but nowadays I'm just happy when it doesn't say "made in China". It's another beautiful Pilothouse that escaped the crusher. 48D:D Quote
Chuck U&R Posted February 5, 2008 Author Report Posted February 5, 2008 I wonder how a 'Slant 6' would do in a Pilothouse. I've never owned one but I hear they're very good engines. Quote
Young Ed Posted February 5, 2008 Report Posted February 5, 2008 They are very good. I've seen one in a 54 plymouth. They are slightly longer then a flathead so you might have to make some adjustments to make room. Quote
Don Coatney Posted February 5, 2008 Report Posted February 5, 2008 They are slightly longer then a flathead In this case slightly is 27 inches compared to 23 or 25 inches. In real time this equates to miles of firewall modifications. Quote
