You're absolutely correct...I'm doing a resto and don't have the original engine...mine's a P15. A P20 won't exactly be numbers matching, but its better than what I've got.

My book says P19 heads on coupes only...P20 on sedans and suburbans and fastbacks.

Jim, could you expound upon that...is there a different head on the coupes?

I have a P20 engine from a 1950 Suburban that I really have no use for - don't know if it runs, but I'm in central CA so that might be a problem - shipping cost-wise.
