my 51 has seen better days-but I'm hoping some parts will interchange. Does anyone know about the bumpers? The front one looks quite a bit longer on the ends than my 50. Also I was hoping to rob the floor sheetmetal and rear fenders. Hopefully the ones from the 51 (a 4 door) will match up to my 50 Biz.

Any info would be appreciated. Thanks-Jim

Jim The bumpers are shaped diff with the 50 having that rib on the bottom. I knew a guy who had 50 bumpers on his 52 so you should be good to go. I'm planning on putting 49 bumpers on my 51. Floor metal is probably good to go. Fenders I'm not sure. Fronts work but the rear ones may not on a biz coupe.

The molding clip bolt holes on the '51 rear fenders are lower than those on the '50, otherwise they are the same. In the fifties, Mopar issued 'blank' replacement rear fenders so you could drill the holes at the level you needed. The front floor sections (up to the front seat) should be the same or at least interchangeable '50-'51. The floor near the package shelf on a business coupe is quite a bit different than the 4-door, and the trunk floor is much longer than a sedan. You can probably graft the sedan trunk floor onto the rear-most section of trunk in the coupe.

You may want to measure...the 49 bumpers look cool ...but I'm pretty sure they are quite a bit narrower than 50 -on

I didn't measure carefully yet but I did hold them up to my 51 bumpers and they seemed the same. I may put them on my 40 plymouth pickup instead anyways. Truck bumpers are hard to find.
