Lookin Good Tim, any ice and snow comin your way tonight. Norm said he would come over with the snowblower to help gather the pecans, before they freeze to the ground.

Hey Tim, what are you using for paint on the backside of the plastic?

I was going to try nail polish on mine, the blue and red is all but gone...

Here's what it looks like now...

very nice Pete..you had an excellent non hazed unit to start with..rare in this climate...some people have all the luck...I used Testors gold, silver and Old Ford Blue and for the red on the chrome..I use Chrylser engine red..

Tim-

That second shot is not my bezel, it's a restored unit, for sale on the net somewhere for about $250... Mine is hazy and is full of hairline surface cracks... I have not tried to repaint it yet.

that is a goodly chunk of change...little to rich for my car...I may not have the prettiest one but hopefuly it is not that much an eyesore either..I did my first one red/blue/silver..thought the rred looked better...now that I did the gold/blue/silver...I think it is easier on the eye...

Am I the only one that thinks Blue Skies' car is dead sexy with the bugs on it? Man, that's a beautiful sight. :)

The bugs are dead alright, but not sure about sexy...

We have lots of bugs round here, but these pics are of 1500 miles of bugs from six different states. Didn't wash the car on the way home from Tulsa :D. But then again, my car always has bug splatters, I try to exterminate as many as possible with the car.

Reason your bugs are flatter Don, is that they don't have anything to eat out there in the land of flatlanders :D. Bugs out here are very hearty. My gramps always told me when I was a kid, "the misquitos here are so big, that a lot of 'em weigh a pound." "Sure takes a lot of 'em though..."
