Plymouthy Adams Posted January 27 Report Posted January 27 Saturday I ran the big 12K alignment lift up to clean the lift bay and get set for upcoming work. Discovered a leaking supply hose to the cylinder. Today I went to two different shops looking to get hoses made. First lets just say finding the specs was a bit like pulling teeth. First shop did not have the 90's so went to another shop who had all the fittings, higher rated pressure hose and came in 30.00 less. That is always good...! Quick fix once home....the lift is back in operation, and I tweaked the new cables for the first time since install 2/26/21. Now to finish a cup of coffee, get back to the cleaning. Hope everyone is making progress on their projects. Quote
Sniper Posted January 28 Report Posted January 28 I'm glad you have time to Tinker. Work has been kicking my butt since before Thanksgiving. So whenever I have time off I'm either driving 5 hours East to visit family or recuperating from work. Last week I had to install and wire up 4,000 pounds worth of batteries all by myself. So needless to say I spent a lot of time recuperating this weekend. Getting old sucks Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted January 28 Author Report Posted January 28 you sound like the work schedule my son had working for the railroad....long hours and good bit of driving involved....I am retired, I have time to tinker given nothing else is falling down around my ears at the moment. Been hard to get back into the swing of things since mid October but am working on it and we have a break in weather that is helping big time. Quote
