Recommended Posts

Hello you Guys.

I have a 1947 plymouth special deluxe coupe and I am looking for a new carburetor insted of the Carter. I have a single intake manifold

Does anyone have experience with a brand new carburetor. And can anyone tell me which one to buy.

Thanks

I was just looking for the same . I have NOT used either  but offer below for consideration and stirring debate.

uremco reman

I found this one Remanufactured b&b that looks the most promising:

this Chinese one - Sherryberg seems to be a copy of a Chevy Rochester but looks promising for brand new  though the linkage may be off.

Thanks for your reply.
It looks like two good suggestions. I had hoped that someone had some experience with some of the chinese one, that they could share too.

I've read general bad reviews about Chinese retro carbs but did not try them in person. Also, you can always use the good-old OEM + rebuilt kit. Someone in the States can buy one for you and ship it over.
