p15estep Posted November 27, 2007 Report Share Posted November 27, 2007 Cleaning out an old building today and found these 2 radio's, they look to be from back in the late 40's- early 50's. How's a good way to find what they belong to. Is there a web site to look up old radio's. Plymouthy Adams Posted November 28, 2007 Report Share Posted November 28, 2007 No FM on the dail ...that is the function/station numbers...and there are no CD emblems..so it is pre-54 not sure if can be a 53..is all the guts in that thing or is it a "head" the high line radio in the 53 has the bottom left button as OFF.. p15estep Posted November 28, 2007 Author Report Share Posted November 28, 2007 Yah, it's all tubes and such inside and the bottom left button is the off button. so then it's a 1953 Plymouth/ Dodge car radio perhaps? as for the other radio, it looks like it might be a truck radio, maybe a little older then the mopar.
