Surge Posted May 16 Report Posted May 16 Hello all! now that i have the clutch issue behind me for now, i am assembling the last few parts on the front end of my car. it has been so long since I took it apart, i am not recalling where the attached piece is supposed to go. any guidance? Quote
andyd Posted May 16 Report Posted May 16 I've not played with a 1950 Plymouth but that piece looks like a fender brace that goes from the frame to the lower edge of the front fender behind the wheel arch.......but I could be wrong.......andyd Quote
Surge Posted May 16 Author Report Posted May 16 Hi andyd, Yes that piece is quite similar to fender brace; i do have those which will probably not be reinstalled. this piece is still a mystery to me but i'm trying to scour any pic i can to get a glimpse of possible location. Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted May 17 Report Posted May 17 I would suspect it to b the back brace that attaches to the spalsh pan at the bottom and the back of the hood latch plate at the rear... Quote
Surge Posted May 17 Author Report Posted May 17 Yes Plymouth Adams. I starting assembling the grille area today hoping the location would reveal itself...got it! Quote
andyd Posted May 17 Report Posted May 17 I've learnt something ...........always good when that happens..............andyd Quote
