Part Identification.

I picked up what looks like an old Dodge/Plymouth front clip. It has 936749 written on it. Does anyone have a parts book that they can check that number on?? It is NOS.

   I googled the number, and in the 40-48 Mopar Sheet Metal and body parts book, came up with a center grill section for a 41 Plymouth. Posting a picture of what you have, would be easier to identify what you have.

Thanks! I tried Google and came up short. I think it is a 41 Plymouth grill section. I will post a pic.

Bob:  The next time that you are at a swap meet pickup an old Mechanic Rate Book. These are very cheap becasue most people do not want them.  But look through one. You will see that there are lots of pictures and part number for the date range that the book covers.

 

So for a few dollars you get a great parts book and then can also verify if that same part might fit your current car and also some repair information.

 

Cheap reference catalog for your car.

9 Foot Box had the correct answer. Attached is a pic of the part. It is not bent, as the pic implies. Any idea what it might be worth? I can't use it nor will I have use for it in the future.

Picture is worth a thousand words. I have 2 of these in the shop waiting for paint?. Glad you got it figured out. Skrambler may need another for his collection or give you an idea of value.
