rcl700
I'm looking for the shift bushing pictured below and also the spring circled. Not sure what the spring does but mine is crossed up. Not sure what it would take to change out this spring or if it's worth it. Starter removed, the gear stoped coming out when i energized the start solenoid. Hopefully cleaned and some lubricant will free it up. LazyK
Rubber bushing can be sourced at andy bernbaum auto parts https://www.oldmopar.com Might look there as well for the spring
D35 Torpedo
Be careful with the starter bendix. It may seem like it can be assembled three ways, but in reality it can only go together one way. Any other way and the key drops into a hole and jams the whole thing up. I was able to lubricate the shaft the bending spins on and free it up. I reinstalled the starter and it seems to work are it should. I didn't disable it. Thanks for the tip I'm glad I didn't now.
