Got my engine back

Got my engine back from the machine shop. Unfortunately I have 3 more weeks of hernia surgery recovery before I can get started. The engine is a 58 truck motor that has been bored.040 over. Should give my Coronet a bit more pep.

Doug: wishing you a speedy recovery.  Even after the recommended recovery time please do not rush into lifting heavy objects. Let things heal, you will have plenty of time and better health by waiting and not reinjuring your self again.

Yep been there, had it done. When I was coming out of antiscia and still a bit groggy someone asked if I had any questions. I thought it was a silly thing to ask as I was still half asleep. So I said, "Yes, how many 'ds' in Happy Birthday"? He said "what"? as he leaned closer. I repeated my question. He said "1". I said no there aren't there are 26. He leaned even closer with a strange look on his face and I sang, dddddd,dddddd, He walked off never to return.
