Go Fleiter
Well, I can only find information to P15´s cooling pressure: 0. Is that valid for 1951 P23 too? Tks for a hint! Greetings from Düsseldorf! Go
Sniper
4 or 7 psi, had to dig into the parts manual to sort it out. Seems 51 was a cross over year and the parts book doesn't break it down. If you have the original cap it'll have a 4 or a 7 stamped on it. If not, well my 51 has a 4 on it if that helps. Go Fleiter
I lost the original and it now has one with 7 lbs stamped. I had a small coolant leak off a freeze plug, but rust seems to be the reason, not excessive pressure. new frost plugs are already in the deep freezer! Thanks! Greetings from Düsseldorf! Doug&Deb
My Coronet calls for a 4 pound cap but when you order from one of the Mopar specific vendors you get a 7 pound cap. I’m guessing it must not be a problem. I’ve had no issues with mine.
