moparfun Posted March 26, 2022 Report Posted March 26, 2022 I'm rebuilding the brake system on the plaza wagon. Have put everything new at all four corners, all new brake lines (hard and soft) and now on to the master cylinder. when I started the master cylinder had been removed along with everything attached to it, I now have all the parts and am ready to install. My question is where is a good starting point for the push rod adjustment? should I start with it all the way in or about half way then adjust? Quote
kencombs Posted March 26, 2022 Report Posted March 26, 2022 I'd measure the length needed and set it about .030 shy of that measurement. Working on a similar thing with my 56 1/2T this week. Pedals from a 60, master from a 74 and the 60 push rod is definetly way too long. I think I'll measure and just make a new one with lots of adjustment built in. Quote
