This is the wiper arm from my D24.

See the blade end connection type. 

What blade will fit this ?

 

Is there an adapter required?

Clay: You need the Deadlocker style wiper blade. I have these on my 39 Desoto. What length blade are you looking for.

Mine have the same arm

I have the same issue.  I have the trico style ones on my Royal, but my New Yorker uses the pictured arms.  How do the trico blades fit on?  I am at a loss!

Years ago, I cut a notch in the wiper blade connectors, to receive the hooked arms.  (The white arrow is new; I could use more practice with the editing.)

Great idea, thank you!  I had a heck of a time figuring out how to mount up some wipers!

The correct blade is called a deadlocker type wiper blade. The hook go into the hole or slot and then you pull back the lever on the end of the connector and then the hook comes up the other end and the blade is locked into position.

 

Another trcik that I have done is to remove the mounting braket on the correct deadlocker and then transfer it to the new blade
