Dunkin
Howdy, I wanted to know what everyone was running in their 251cid engines. I installed Champion J8C's many, many years ago when I was first trying to get my 1947 2 ton Dodge road worthy and I was curious if I should just stick with them. I don't know that I should change brands other than I am partial to Autolite's and NGK's....not sure why I bought Champions other than it may have been all that my local Napa had at the time. I see that the Autolite 295 crosses with the Champion J8C, but I had made a note to use an Autolite 303 sometime ago. Not certain where I got that information. Anyhow, any feedback would be greatly appreciated as always. Regards
maok
Try NGKs B6S, cheap to buy, should work well.
greg g
Have the same set of AC45r in my car going on 50k miles. Put them in in 2008 after rebuilding my 230. They are the ac crossover from J 8. Champions have been junk going on 20 years. Don't even use them in my lawn and garden stuff any more.
NiftyFifty
Delco 45R would be my choice, or the same in NGK. Sadly autolite plugs have gone to being made cheaply, like champion and I quit using them.
