Tired iron Posted December 1, 2021 Report Posted December 1, 2021 (edited) Got my valves unstuck on my Dodge 230 motor. Finally! New head bolts and gasket. I was reading in the original Dodge manual and it says to use grease on the head gasket! I wouldn't have thought that. In fact, on the newer motors ive rebuilt, the head gaskets went on dry. So, I'm asking if you guys use some type of sealant and, if so, what you use? Copper spray? Edited December 1, 2021 by Tired iron Quote
Sniper Posted December 1, 2021 Report Posted December 1, 2021 Depends on the head gasket used and the material of the head. Been discussed plenty of times here, recently too. Search function is your friend. Quote
