Replacing Generator - 48 Dodge D24

I'm in the process if replacing the generator on my 48 D24.  It's fairly straight forward, but I'm struggling to get the last bolt out that's on the front of the Generator.  It seems like I need to take the radiator out to access the bolt to remove the Generator. Any tips on removing the generator? Is it possible to remove it without removing the Radiator?

Yes it can be removed without removing the radiator. Take the battery box out. It gives you more room to get to the bolts. Are you talking about the 2 bolts on the bottom or the adjustment bolt on top? The bottom bolts may be easier to access from underneath. It’s been 8 years since I sold my D24 but I don’t remember it being that difficult to remove.

I would expect the generator to be attached to the bracket with a short bolt front and rear.   If someone used a long bolt from the front, removing it would hit the radiator.  However, if that's the case, check out the two bolts that connect the generator bracket to the engine block.  These can be removed from under the car, freeing the generator and bracket.

Two of those box wrenches that "ratchet" can be a big help in tight spaces.
