casper50 Posted April 21, 2020 Report Posted April 21, 2020 does anyone make a single inlet brake proportioning valve? I'm going to use a single reservoir MC. Or do I T the input to got to both the front and rear on a dual res valve? Quote
Dartgame Posted April 21, 2020 Report Posted April 21, 2020 I'd put it in the rear brake line and do nothing to the front portion. Quote
casper50 Posted April 21, 2020 Author Report Posted April 21, 2020 I can't find just a single inlet valve. Quote
Sniper Posted April 21, 2020 Report Posted April 21, 2020 The aftermarket is filled with a plethora of single inlet adjustable proportioning valves, like this: What I think you are talking about is a combination valve like this: Quote
casper50 Posted April 21, 2020 Author Report Posted April 21, 2020 All I could find at first was the bottom one. I've found one like the top single inlet now. Am I correct is thinking that this is in the front brake line only so that the front pressure can be dialed down? Quote
Sniper Posted April 21, 2020 Report Posted April 21, 2020 It's designed to lessen the pressure to the rear brakes, as a percentage of the pressure in, to compensate for rear brake lock up. What are you trying to accomplish? Quote
casper50 Posted April 22, 2020 Author Report Posted April 22, 2020 Okay so it goes on the rear brakes. Running disc front and drum rear. Quote
