BobT-47P15 Posted September 28, 2007 Report Posted September 28, 2007 Welll.....you could do it up like this one. And you could get one of those bumper stickers i saw on a restored ambulance at a Pontiac nationals show...."Put the FUN back in funeral". Quote
oldmopar Posted September 28, 2007 Report Posted September 28, 2007 Good thing I am a long distance from Canada that is a tempting project Quote

Plymouthy Adams Posted September 28, 2007 Report Posted September 28, 2007 the ambulance is just a wagon on steroids..but I do love them..this would be a nice vehicle to have....as for the body styles...like the divided windows and removable rear fenders that the 52 and earlier wagons had...the 52 above looks more like a victim of poor paint that any real body damage. What is the wheelbase on this vehicle..anyone know... Quote
JerseyHarold Posted September 29, 2007 Report Posted September 29, 2007 A few years back I bumped into a picture online of an Australian hearse based on a right-hand drive '52 Plymouth. Chugging off the the graveyard behind a flathead six...now that's a neat way to go! Quote
Niel Hoback Posted September 29, 2007 Report Posted September 29, 2007 That there is a '70 Pontiac. Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted September 29, 2007 Report Posted September 29, 2007 Was reading on some old ambulance website....and it said at least some ambulances were made from four door sedans, and not wagons, as one might think. Don't know which ones, of course. Quote
