Cork seal/gasket under distributor ??

I pulled my distributor to install new points and condenser. The cork gasket that sits under the distributor fell apart. I've searched with no results. Does anyone know where I can purchase one or a part number?  I put a O-ring on the shaft for now.

Oh sorry its for my 1948 Plymouth P-15 Special Deluxe, stock flat head six engine.

you may be better off searching out the local big box store for sheet 1/16 cork gasket material, even hobby suppliers like Hobby Lobby and Michaels could be a quick source, heck even wally world has a craft department.

I suspect your oring temp fix may be a better seal than the original cork.  Unless it's leaking, I see no reason to change it.

Thanks, I've owned and driven the car since 1973, it leaks oil. we'll see if it leaks even more. Sure starts and runs good with new points.
