David T Posted April 5, 2019 Report Posted April 5, 2019 I know what black and tan plugs indicate. What is green? Quote
Mark D Posted April 5, 2019 Report Posted April 5, 2019 How’s your coolant level? Notice any loss? Quote
DJ194950 Posted April 5, 2019 Report Posted April 5, 2019 (edited) Overall appearance of inner plug area says loudly, Water. The hood center strips leak right over the spark plugs! leaking plug gaskets contribute. DJ Edited April 5, 2019 by DJ194950 sp. 1 Quote

RCrombie Posted April 6, 2019 Report Posted April 6, 2019 Green would be corroded copper. Copper core plugs? Quote
PT81Jan Posted April 6, 2019 Report Posted April 6, 2019 Is just one spark plug green or also the others ? what about the carburetor`s float bowl ? My son was asking me, if I had an idea to get his motorcycle running, which he had not started for a year. We removed the spark plugs and opened the carburetor. I never have seen so much green in a fuel system and motor before ! Looked like an algae sea in a village pond. Remnants of the bioethanol fuel ...! Quote
