Sitting on a local semi remote lake tonight waiting for a bull moose. No luck with the moose but these two kept me company.

Love the call of the 

Loon in the evening!

this one didn't make a sound all evening but the one on the next lake over was rather vocal.  The swan was surprisingly vocal as well.

We have a nesting pair of loons on the lake about 500 yards from our house. Love to hear their call. A naturalist told me that loons usually call when they feel threatened, so they must like you...
