As I have mentioned in another thread before, I am new to the Dodge family.  What I find amazing is the willingness of other Dogde(anyone under the Chrysler umbrella) enthusiasts to help a fellow Dodge owner out.  I am glad I found this website, it's been very helpful.  I am in the automotive parts business and I've notice since starting a project on a much older vehicle, how little viable information is available(in regards to parts numbers).  What I mean is, actual part number listings.  Real part numbers, not imaginary listings by websites trying to hide or protect their market.  For example, I was looking for a headlight for my 47 WC and even I didn't have a listing in my own computer cataloging.  I went to the manufacturer(Philips) and they didn't list one either, I then went to Wagner...no dice!  Which is nuts because they make parts for my application!  Out of curiosity I ventured out onto the internet and found tons of listings but the information was all over the place.  A lot of wrong information or information that was accurate as far as product is concerned but with new part numbers given, not the manufacturers number.  In this case, a simple 6006 bulb.  It really opened my eyes.  I've made this much longer than it needed to be but my offering is to list bulb numbers for OE applications as a public service.  I'm not selling anything, just helping others out.  If anyone has questions, post them up and I'll see if I can help.

I have found that using part numbers from the factory parts manual to cross-reference supplier part numbers is more reliable than current application charts because those charts are invariably riddled with errors that go uncorrected for years.

If you come up with cross references from the original Chrysler numbers to aftermarket equivalents, especially ones currently available, I'd like to add them to my database at http://www.ply33.com/Parts/numeric When I started the parts were focused on 1933 Plymouth only, but it now covers 1928 through 1948 and I am not adverse to extending further.

I am not a vendor. Just a hobbyist who has been collecting cross reference information since I got my car 45 years ago.

TodFitch,

If you look at the posted link provided by JBNeal it lists both the Chrysler part number and the industry number.  It doesn't give application information but does list common bulb numbers.  If you have something specific by year, I'll do my best to get you industry numbers.  It's nice that website members like this one has catalogs and preserves the history, otherwise, a lot of this application cataloging is going away.  That leaves looking up parts by dimensions or other means.
