Car is ready mechanically. Today is clean up and wax day. I know it will be filthy by the time I get there. But always like to start out fresh.

That does it! After looking at your engine compartment, I am going to establish this year's winter project as taking my head, intake manifold, air cleaner and alternator off and getting them fully polished! They were all polished to some extent, but have sort of faded in recent years.

Yes, made sure, working good at stop an go traffic, and freeway. Was 85 degrees when I ran to test. I took the same route last year, before engine rebuild and dual carb set up. Could not use the AC. This time I think I'm fine.

Made it safe and sound so far. Great trip, a few issues but no big one.

This is my third try on this computer, so I am going to post more when I get there. Shut down twice on me in the middle of long posts.
