Transmission Identification

I have finally gotten the cab off the chassis on my 53 B4C and am looking for some help in identifying the transmission.  The top has the number C-88481 and the date 10-10-52.  The sides have the number C-88221 with the date 10-1-52.  The gear shift seems to tell me this is a three speed as the pattern goes lower left, upper left, lower right and then a detent to the lower right for reverse I believe.  Any help is appreciated!

Look like a 4 speed to me.

1951-53 DT 1/2 to 3/4 ton............ New Process 420 syncro trans 4 speed.
