1939 Plymouth Headlight Disassembly

Good day all! Helping a friend with a 1939 Plymouth convertible, and frankly...it's well out of my area of expertise.

The car is largely done, but I need to install wiring into the headlights. I have removed the lens and the clips that retain the reflector yet I can't seem to get the reflector to come out of the housing. I'm being very careful as I don't want to cause damage.

Could I just be missing something very simple in these Rite Way lights?

When you say rite way are these the OEM square lights or sealed beam conversions?

Matt: This is rich Hartung with a 39 Desoto and I have the reflectors like in the 39 Plymouth. Call me and I will walk you through the process. I live near valley forge PA, where do you live?

Thanks to you both!

This car still has the original headlight set up and the owner is trying to do as correct as possible restoration.
