Does anyone here know the length for a replacement speedo cable for my 41 chrysler windsor vacamatic  convertible? Before any one suggests taking it off and measuring the one on the car  ,I can't!

We need to know which model Chrysler that you have  is it a c28, c30,c33  because there are different lengths according to my AC speedometer catalog

According to my AC speedometer cable catalog the C28 speedometer cable  has an O.D of.130, then end to end length is 86 7/32 then boths ends are square to 104. The end that goes intot he trans is square but the end that goes in the back of the speedometer will have a flat washer and then a color approx. 3/4 from the end.

Like I said I have a complete AC speedometer catalog with a lot of specific length and what end pieces are used on the various speedometer cable. The info is also avialble on CD format.rich hartung

MoPar # 859992 is probably what you need...86-1/8"... according to the  1953 Master MoPar parts list it's a complete housing and inner cable.

Or maybe MoPar # 996077 @ 87" long.
