with no intent to upset..but until you decide the exact path of your build and the power train that WILL BE installed...making a recommendation is tough...as for fit....again, you need to ask yourself..if staying with these older thin wheels many find suspect for radials or upgrade to later steel and possibly alloys.  There are a ton of alloys out there that are nice, bolt on ONLY if you consider the build and wheel from the start...these modern wheels are positive offset and flange to flange will need be wider to allow for same stance, wheel well clearance and fatter rubber.  I cannot stress enough the need to sit down and plan your car as you eventually want it to eliminate backing up and severe cost overruns not to mention sourcing proper components and how they will affect the build and what mods are needed to make one mod happen..there is not a bolt as you go on these cars as the industry is not supportive to the older Mopars...getting better...but not quite there yet...

Main thing I'm worried about is the rear end and front brakes on this one since it's the most complete those would be the only major changes. I take that back I read a little about the shock relocation being a good thing on these cars so was curious about that also. Everything else would be relatively stock besides the seats and possibly changing the wheels to something better looking than what's on there if I could find something to fit right.  Was just curious about the 440 because I have it sitting here. I'm going to work on getting it running and driving again with the original motor since it was a running car not to long ago.

Fredo....go out to anyone of the three and open and close the drivers side door a coupla x....then look real close at the placement of the front of the door and the rear of the fender, then tell us your opinion on trying to suicide the front doors:eek:

I'm using a Ford 8.8 out of a Ford Exploder. Same bolt pattern, LSD, and 31 spline axles. Just have to move the spring perches out. Front brakes I am looking at using the Rusty Hope brackets and his parts list. I'm putting a 383/727 combo in mine and two things I'll pass on. 1) You will need to take some of the firewall out. I followed a body line on the firewall and it doesn't look too bad. I know it was mentioned already but wanted to mention it again. 2) The stock steering wont work. You will have to get creative to cram a Mopar BB in there. I am using a '93 Cavalier Rack and Pinion so far and working on the rest still. Have to use a rear sump truck oil pan too if you go that route to clear the R&P.

Not sure. Neither of my Plymouths came to me with any powertrain so I am building them both without original motors. I'm sure its been done. Fatman used to make a kit for it.

I used a 1989 Dakota front clip. It slips right in. Got power steering and disc brakes with it. Put a 318 on it with only a slight dent with a hammer on the firewall to accommodate.

...any issues with the oil filter location? or are you using a remote?
